When it comes to my creative process, I find that sometimes spontaneity is key. Recently, I ventured out with the ZEISS 16-35 f4 Vario-Tessar T* OSS lens. Although it's been on the market for a few years, this lens is a perfect match for my Sony cameras and delivers stunning results.
The convenience of having a lens that covers the 16-35 range cannot be overstated. In fact, it was the widest lens I've ever used to date. I experimented with both manual and autofocus capabilities, and while the manual focus experience left something to be desired, it was perfectly suitable for the type of filming I was doing.
One thing I particularly appreciated about the ZEISS 16-35 f4 Vario-Tessar T* OSS was its ability to handle flares exceptionally well. I filmed most of my footage at f8 and f11, which allowed me to capture stunning sun stars that were both prominent and visually pleasing.
Overall, I was extremely impressed with the ZEISS 16-35 f4 Vario-Tessar T* OSS. It delivered exactly what I was looking for and helped me capture footage that enjoyed.
